This melody from the Ana Magdalena Bach notebook has been arranged in a setting that beautifully frames the lyric nature of the music. The highest part carries most of the melody while the lower three parts provide a quiet, steady accompaniment. The arrangement also lends itself to use as a solo for a high C instrument performing the melody and a bell trio playing the accompaniment figures in the bottom three parts. Suitable for a church or secular setting.
