Although this familiar hymn may be used at any time of the church year that is a celebration of thanks and praise, it is most often associated with Thanksgiving. The first and last sections are constructed in layers of sound, while the middle section is built using stacked chords for contrast. The uncluttered construction of this arrangement will lend itself to mastery by less experienced performers.
