Antiphonal fanfares between high and low bells introduce this setting of this ancient Easter hymn, also known as Victory. The opening fanfares give way to the first statement of the tune, ending as the bass bells reintroduce the melody. After the second section has concluded, the piece closes with the reintroduction of the opening fanfares. This work is especially appropriate as a postlude or anthem during Easter. - Additional Information
