Prelude In Bb Minor

Bach weaves a wonderful combination of lyrical melodic lines, tightly intertwined polyphony and underpinning ostinato patterns to create a highly expressive work of musical art. The transcription requires each player to be sensitive to the other players to help bring out the entrances of the central motif. The music is suitable for use as a prelude or offertory in a church service as well as any secular classical program.
